What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
Good morning everyone! I slept until 7 which is unheard of for me but I also got woke up at 2:30 this morning by my poor husband. He suffers from horrible leg cramps even though he drinks lots of water and takes magnesium and potassium and vinegar. I'm not talking normal cramps like everyone gets these are cramps that locks down his legs and make him scream in pain cramps. His normal doctor has been no help nor any of the others he's been to over the years. His dad gets them as well so maybe its something hereditary. I hate seeing him in pain and all I can do is rub his legs with magnesium cream and heat rub which doesn't help much.

Also good morning everyone! Sorry I haven’t posted some songs and quotes recently we will get back to that tomorrow!
A little different for today
1. Our little trio has been doing great! River has been adjusting to our home lives well and we have absolutely loved having him at home with us. It’s amazing to see God’s hand be on his life and seeing how well he is doing since the days he was in the NICU.
This is great news, very happy for you three.
2. I don’t know if all of you have heard or not but our dear friend @Miami Reef has passed away. This was a complete shock to me as I had no clue this happened until I got a text from revhtree about his passing. My condolences go out to his family, and prayer for his family. I lost both my grandma and uncle on the same day this year. Losing family member or friends is never an easy thing. It’s sad to see the ones you love pass away, but what I remind me people is they are in a better place. I believe those who die at a younger age, God is saving those people from the evil that is in the world today, and saving them from more tragedy. I encourage all of you here to live every day like it’s your last. This life is very fragile and we should be living every day with a since of purpose and a since of changing the lives around us. If any one of you need someone to talk to, I’m always here for it and my dms at all times are open.
That was the first thread I found when I entered the site today, devastating news

I'm so sorry for your husband, keep trying to find another doctor because even if it's hereditary there has to be a solution.

I had bad leg cramps nightly like that for a while but then went away. I had a pill that helped a bit but don't remember what it was.

does he have high blood pressure? I started taking BP meds a while back and that might be why mine disappeared. my BP had suddenly went up to 160/105 at its worst.

That would be so cool to bring it back to life so to speak. I would love to see it. Any ideas on what you want to attach to it?
I took me a little bit to find it, was heart broke, the two top branches are broken and cant find them. but this is the picture of a 50 plus year old acro skeleton. its needs peroxide dipped to whiten it.

Good morning Bailey, happy to hear that River is thriving and at home with his mom and dad like he should be.

Well, it appears I missed about another 10 pages that I won't go back and read.

I am sure, by now, everyone has heard of the very sad and tragic news about Baruch. I received a message last night at 11:56 from his bother. My lady and I were planning a drive over to Miami to see his tank and hang out.
I am devastated. I will miss Baruch immensely. Another reminder that today is all we really have.

Wishing you all a warm Sunday.

I used to have bad leg cramps that would wake me up 2-3 times a night that I had to walk off. Less than a year ago my blood work came back with extremely low potassium and I was prescribed this. I have not had a leg cramp since. My wife says it’s about a 1000 times more than over the counter.

I think mine was potassium of some sorts too.

Maybe he can talk to his stupid doctor and see if he will prescribe it. I'm not a fan of his doctor...

I was first told by my doctor to drink 12 ounces of orange juice a day but that wasn’t getting it done.

Then you have the wrong doctor, you need to find one you are comfortable with and who listens to you.

What I'm doing today:
Topping off the tank
Starting salt mixing
Doing a 2.5g change later today just to get started with what I have.
How long should I mix for?
