Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
Beer math is way better than the new math our kids were forced to learn! Funny, I clicked on it because he has the same clothing apparel I wear every Saturday during the college football season but obviously found it funny.

Good morning everyone! Sorry I’ve been inactive recently, been a little busy! I did get some Christmas decorations up in our yard last night!

Do you have an Arby’s near you? That’s where I got it and I always ask for extra sauerkraut.
I thought that bread looked like Arby's marble rye! I may very well have to stop after work!

Great idea, so you do the water change with the return pump running? Or do you just remove the desired amount from the sump and then add the new water?
No, yes, sorta? So I turn off the return pump, then I remove water - sometimes from th DT, sometimes from the sump. Then I turn the pump back on and start pouring water from the bucket into the sump as the level begins dropping. Sometimes the return pump gets ahead of me and I have to temporarily turn the return pump back off for a few seconds.

I also have enough head space in the sump with the return pump off I could add 5 gallons without any issues so I can remove water from the DT, turn the pump on, and start pouring with no fear of overflowing the sump.

@tbrown that mucus you spoke about last week.. it's back and it seems to come on every water change. What does it mean?
It's how some things catch their food. They'll send out a mucus "net" and then suck it back in to their stomachs.
