What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
Way too cold for a beer lol ( don't laugh on me ) If I don't write tomorrow morning, it's because I froze, it's going to be 49° at dawn lol

Yeah Its even colder on the west coast of Florida. Its like 49 atm lol. The sad part is I have a livestock shipment from Top shelf, mostly inverts but I am worried about it making it overnight. :/ I ordered it mid week last week and they only had delivery options for today and I did not know the weather would drop from 70s to this low. Hopefully they all make it. I really hope they included a heat pack as well.

Was a long day yesterday so didn't get much online time. well I surpassed my boat work goal. Got all the fillets done. took 5-6 hours. don't know exactly when I started. But what a pain. Thought it'd be quicker. mix 8 ounces of epoxy, mix in wood flour, place into pastry bag, squeeze out into cracks, smooth it out, scrape off excess and repeat. the issue is it only goes so far and I needed to do 13 joints that are about 16 feet so like 200 feet? Meanwhile if you can't dispense the epoxy within 15 minutes from the bag, it gets really hot as it cures.

But here's a project for you northerns with kids that I never got to. A sled riding hill for flat yards. This was my prototype to easily take down each year and stow away flat but just never made it there. Don't need much snow with this either. the slide part is 4' wide and had a roller to transition the corner from flat to angle with a sled or tube. 4x4's and 2x10s.

Just finely chopped pre-cooked and mixed with ritz crackers, butter, some veggies, seasoning. Mold it around cane stalks. Adds a sugary chew pop taste.
Sounds great. Ive actually been wanting to smoke some fish on sugar can stalks cut in half

You never cease to amaze me Paul.

This hunting trip is over and we are heading home. It's always bittersweet because I do miss my animals when we are here but I miss hunting when I am there... 😆 Picture of my little buddies since I didn't get a deer to show off. Lol

Good morning Paul! I saw that, you said it was sweeter than a cinnamon roll?
cinnamon rolls are typically pie dough. so water, flour and crisco. this has milk and yeast which totally changes flavor. I usually scald the milk but warm works since many people would probably kill the yeast adding it too soon while it's hot. Maybe while these boat fillets cure I'll see what I can do for a modified rilling pin rotisserie finally. might be something small I can do now.

You live on The Gulf Coast too, Thomas?!
