Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
soon next year I will have the newest custom lids, algae reactors and dosing containers and for sure cool T shirts..all made by a reefer for reefers...
I cant wait for this! Im really excited to see what you come up with.

When I was in the hobby I use to keep my water with 5.8-6.1 ph for breeding and I would keep my water around 300 micro semens . Every day sucking out the left over food so it didn’t get bacteria . I could never take a vacation . Brought Back good memories . Some where I have pictures . I’ll have to find them .
Uhm. I dont do freshwater so im not sure, but is micro semens a real freshwater parameter? Are we measuring how fertilized the water is or something? Does hanna make a checker for that?

Out here... You've never seen the tequila suckers with scorpions instead of the mealworms? They have them all over the place.
I had a bottle of sake' with a 12 inch viper coiled up in the bottle. I was going to keep ot forever because it was cool and my buddy brought it to me from Japan. I ran out of beer one night at a party and opened it up. I was much younger....

Lolol Mike is baaaack!!

What kind are they and are they showing a lot of color
I have no idea.
I don't know anything about them.
They're a little pale honestly.
There's a brownish one that has good color.
The red and the blue, not so much.

i just checked my salinity its at 1.022 is this ok . i can go get Instant Ocean tomorrow and do a water change to raise it i just add my first corals and had to take some water out to do the dip . i just added some rodi water to bring the levels of the tank back up .

Not sure if they do ? I used biscof , a German company

If their quarter size that’s good . If they were full color there a good chance that they were inhance .

Bring the salinity up. I try for 1.026-1.027. I'll let it get as low as 1.025 sometimes but rarely.

That low salinity is not good, adding RO water wasn't good because that's what caused the salinity to drop.

So it is exactly what it sounds like. Lol just confirming.

As @tbrown and @luis angel said, get your salinity up. I would turn off any auto top offs, and dont add anymore ro. If you have salt, mix up some fresh and start swapping out. Go high salinity with the new stuff and slowly swap out some water here and there over the course of a day so no to make it a drastic swing. Dont add straight salt mix into your system.

Add saltwater to get back to level if you remove saltwater. That'll keep your salinity stable. Top off your evaporation level with rodi. Always reach out with questions, brother we're here to help you.
