To give my two cents, I already participated in the donation, and if R2R were to take any money from it, I honestly wouldn't care, although I know they don't. I can tell you that even though I haven't been here very long, all of the R2R staff have more than proven themselves trustworthy. Besides, they're even giving away prizes because, depending on the donation amount, you get a certain number of tickets for a raffle, in which I won a $250 SBB gift card last year.

I do not know, exactly, when it will be here. There was a FedEx shipping label created though so that's a step in the right direction.

Id trust R2r, but that's exactly why I choose to give directly, if I do. Of course I have my own kids that want presents too in this economy, so that's usually where my Christmas savings go.

It's not that I do not trust the folks here, at R2R. It, rather, would be the people at the other organizations. In general, I do not give trust unless it is earned. I do not expect anyone to give me their trust unless I earn it too. This becomes more rigorous whenver money is involved.

David (Rev) is a stand up guy that I stand behind wholeheartedly. One of the few "big business" people that I have trust and faith in.

Had a visitor to my tree this morning. They're are a lot of these guys here but this is the first time I had one where I could get a video.

At the country club I caddied at, when I was a kid, there was a woodpecker that took a liking to one of the overhead lights in the club parking lot. Whenever that bird would get going, you could hear it throughout the entire course. Most of us caddies got a big kick out of it. There were members who complained because they claimed it interferred with their golf game. One day, it just stopped. There were rumors that the head grounds kkeeper "took care of it." And, no, none of the complaining members golf game improved after the woodpecker's mysterious disappearance. Even then, and as a kid, I was somewhat of a smart aleck and would comment on bad shots they would hit with things like, "Ooof! It's a good thing the woodpecker is gone now. Imagine how bad that shot would have been with interence."

That's something that would be straight out of Caddyshack or any other golf movie, haha. Back in high school, I was on the junior varsity golf team at a small private school. As you can imagine, we had to scramble to get players for our team, so it was mostly a bunch of people who had no interest in golf. Well, one day my friend went to Tee off on a hole, and as soon as he swung, the head of the driver went flying further than the ball. About the only thing I remember from my time playing golf.
