Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
I think if you would have a space to put individual containers that would be heated / cooled together ?
Yeah, a "cup" rack in some water. Heat or cool the water. Just like when you float bags. It wouldn't keep it oxygenated though.

It would have to have a programmable thermostat
Heaters have that... But yes, a secondary shut off would be good.

Its fixed woo hooo been a busy morning had to snow blow making RODI , I won a Gatorade Zoa and a AOI Zoa last night . Biding on a bunch more today :) I'm going to need a bigger tank or I'm going to have to start switching tanks from fresh to salt :)

How long does a shipment get to your house ? I’ve had the take as much as three days I would think two days would be good . Just make sure you leave air in the container when you place them in .

2 days was the longest I've waited. I've had fish die in 1 day because they got cold (seller used cold packs right against the bags). I've had corals go two days with minimal losses.

Keep in mind, I live in a desert.

Nevermind, looks like he has the Garf, not a Tubbs. I was thinking he had both but I'm not seeing Tubbs on his website.
Is he back actively selling again? I stopped going to his site after a while when he was down.

I'm not sure. I know he was talking about taking a break but he was at the CFM show last year if I recall correctly.

The fact that your going to keep this with you . You can check it once in a while . Maybe take a battery operated aerator with you

We keep figuring this out on this site someone will get it registered lol !! 😎

Thanks John. The NY Knicks grows like a weed, I’ve fragged it so many times. You can see the size of the frag on the frag rack. You still can’t see the Western Ausie torch or, my favorite, the hellfire torch. I can’t wait to get rid of the frag racks!
Im also a huge candy cane fan. Your colony's growth pattern is very unique and awesome. My first coral was a 2 inch little frag. In just over a year and a half, it's my biggest self grown colony.

The grail is nice too! Im thinking I need a hellfire?

Yes you do, everyone needs a hellfire. It was my first torch, I fragged it a couple times.

Here’s my candycane when I first got it, it was one of my original additions.

The candy canes's color is still one of the brightest in my tank. Great colors on the hellfire! I definitely need 1 or 2 more torches in my tank.

I would give you the NY Knicks on the frag rack but you would burn to much fuel and time picking it up. If and when I tear the rock scape apart I need to move the NY Knicks into the back to make the other three more visible. I noticed I did it originally when I was looking for the candy cane pic.

I love mine, so much i hid it in the back of the tank :) but that pop keeps it visible

I have been too chicken to add a torch though, but ive dreamt of doing so.
