You think that one was bad! I dedicate tonight's recipe to you! This is the first time ive tried the velveting technique like Chinese restaurants use. Chinese pepper steak! I used thinly sliced beef spare ribs, soaked em in baking soda for 30 minutes. Then washed it off, added, corn starch, hoisin, soy, ginger, salt and white pepper. Then let that soak another 30.

Wash that off and pat dry. Then deep fry it. Kevin this was definitely the most tender beef ive ever cooked. It tasted just like the buffet lol

Omg ( that’s on my goat for you older reefers), that blows me away! My wife learned the baking powder trick years ago to get any meat the same texture as the restaurants. I’m coming!
