What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?

Good morning!

You all only banged out 9 pages yesterday. Little light for a Sunday. Slackers. Although, I think some of you probably spent some time shoveling the white stuff so you get a pass.

Hope everyone makes it a magnificent Monday!

Good morning Chris! I think shoveling the white stuff would have made us 10 times more active on here ( Scar Face). 😉

Good morning and happy Monday!

The whole point of getting things done is knowing what to leave undone. Oswald Chambers

Now you might be thinking, "Doesn't that seem counterintuitive, not to finish everything"? While you are right in a sense, but let's dig a little deeper to understand it truly. Say you have a project at work (or school if you are in school still), you have three days to finish it. Obviously, you are going to get the project done, but you have to figure out what needs to take a back burner first. Maybe you limit the amount of distractions you have, maybe you limit the amount of time you take for a break to get the project done. This whole idea can apply to our day-to-day life too. Sometimes we have to limit our time and effort in certain areas in order to improve in other areas. Maybe we limit the amount of time we spend on social media to enjoy family time more, or maybe we limit how much we spend that way, so that we can enjoy creation indoors. So today, figure out areas that might need to be limited or undone in order to accomplish what you need to get done today.

I had a director once that used to make a list of what he wasn't going to accomplish that day so he could set those aside and focus on everything else.

My problem with this practice was he spent too much time focusing on what he wasn't going to finish that he had less time to actually finish things that needed to be done. It always made him add one or two more things to his list.

I can see the positive to what you're saying though - unlike the way he focused on what not to do, not focusing on the "undone" means I'm not becoming negative when things aren't accomplished. Focus on what was done - and done well! Celebrating the small wins.

Good morning! Isn't this where all the good food is? Looking for a dinner recipe fitting for the weather here in Georgia... in the teens (which is normal for some, not for us)! Preferably not soup as @Gumbies R Us is a weirdo who doesn't like soup...

I figured i'd try brine shrimp tomorrow. The mysis seem big and he has to break them up to eat and the other fish rob him. Wonder if a slightly smaller food might help.
Get yourself a little white worm.culture going, and you'll never have to worry about picky eaters or nutritious fish food again!

I'm pretty sure that symbol is just a recycling symbol and is not directly related to whether or not an object is food safe. It is to allow recyclers to sort the products for post processing.

Well, there was, at one time, a recipe book discussed...
