Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
As well as some of what you mention I also like the harlequin brittle star fish . I have three of them and they keep the rock clean .
Do you have any pics of them? Im interested in getting another starfish

You can have a few of these as the hang out in the rock , outside the rock , under the sand , and also hang out together . It funny when you see a arm hanging out in side of your hammer . most of the time can see them without looking to far . they keep the base clean around the rocks and go after uneaten food as well . Also I think the green ones will taken small fish . I have red and black , gray ones

Hope they find what’s wrong . Sorry to hear your having these issues . Good luck at your cardiologist. Hope it’s Something that can be fixed with ease.
Thank you sweetie sorry I'm just now replying I fell asleep.

Question for you reef experts, My dKH is slowly creeping downward. It is now down to 8.9. I like it in the 9.5 to 10 range. A little over view: I dose AFR, BRS magnesium (stopped), and RedSea No Pox. This creeping down is a trend that I cannot reverse with the AFR since my mag and calcium are border line to high. I do 4 gallon water changes a week with I.O reef crystals. The dKH of a new batch is around 10 to 10.5, I guess my tank is consuming the dKH at a faster rate now. Would you dose kalkwasser ?
Try ME coral liquid alkalinity or something like that.
Ups alk and ph with minimal impact on everything else.

I’m surprised with all the dogs you have that you were able to make it to the table .
The ones that run loose in the house are trained not to get in the way when we have food and while they do beg with their eyes they will not get food off the counter or the table. They sit and wait patiently to see if they get a bite or not.

I had the same issue & then I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease 😭 so now I can't have any more yummy foods
I have heard of that disease but don't really know anything about it. I will research it.

Urchins, Mexican, turbos, dwarf hermits and trochus for the rocks and glass. Conchs, nassarius, and sand sisters for the sandbed. Ive never had ceriths or margarita snails, but ive heard only positive things about them
I second this! I have all of them and they do a good job.
