Well hello :) late day today . I picked up 3 Damsels for 5 bucks each at my local Petco for my new Im 20 Gal . i need something to start the cycle . There still super small "black and white striped " cute little buggers . i think eventually they will out grow my tank correct ? ? ? If so ill trade them in at my Local LFS . There hiding and lights are off will try to get pics tomorrow.

Sounds like the Three Stripe Damselfish. You may have a battle royal on your hands as they claim territory in your tank. although some people have had some success in keeping them together. Just be careful if they start to fight as you may have to lock one or multiple up in an acclimation box. lol

Yes, a couple of days is usually fine. However, you should wrap the tank in addition. Do as close to a full blackout as you can in order to eliminate light.
