I'm not fully functional yet this am and first thing I thought of when I scrolled to the third photo was, 'Steak Lollipops' man I gotta move to Maine, then I remembered snow shovels, mud rooms, heavy coats, and living at the end of a dead end street in winter when the guy on the other side of the street is best friends with the city snow plow driver. Guess I'll stay here but just for that my wife is going to make me a pot roast this weekend, so there!

Early Mud always made me a little crazy. It is so pretty in New England in the early Spring but everywhere you try to walk you sink to your ankles or worse in ooze.

we seem to be gaining this new monsoon rain season in January now. almost yearly. it should be in the teens, not 40's. we should have snow Dec-March and never see green grass. I'm so glad I didn't do an ice rink this year.
