Sorry I asked for photos and then disappeared for the rest of the day. So these are basically containers for plants that hang inside the aquarium? It the issue with the ones you buy that it doesn't fit over your rim or that it is too loose. I would assume doesn't fit over. So, do you have a 'standard' rimmed tank like an Aqueon/Marineland/Top Fin/etc. or something more like a eurobrace? Those containers look fairly large which could mean it would take large expensive magnets to do it that way. I refuse to do magnets in underwater gear as I just don't trust myself to do it well enough but I think Tim built something with magnets, no idea how it worked out. What might work is to make hangers to adapt those containers to fit your rim.

No worries at all! And yes the issue is they do not for over the rims of my tanks. I think the issue is they are made for smaller tanks with smaller rims such as maybe a 10 or 20 gallon but my tanks I want them for are 40, 55, 75, 120 and 125 gallons.

Go with a Tunze. They are fantastic. Or go with a Hydros & set up an AWC :)

Tunze has been the gold standard in ATOs for a very long time. If you are going to use a controller then you might want to look at the ones that the controller manufacturers sell, Hydros, Neptune, or Red Sea. I'm not a Red Sea fan but I find the new controller line they are releasing rather intriguing.

Does anyone else get the urge to buy stuff for their aquariums when they do any kind of work on them? Today I finally moved the corals I bought months and months ago up off the sand and put them in what might be their permanent homes. I didn't have any super glue so I couldn't attach them but hopefully they won't get knocked off until I can pick some up. I also added an ATO to my 75 gallon freshwater tank that the company sent me to replace one i ordered that didn't work but then the first one started working so I had an extra. Anyways now I'm looking at the tanks and wishing I could order more corals for the saltwater or some more plants for the freshwater but sadly I'm a broke white girl with too many expensive hobbies... Also I will post pictures later but right now there is way too much glare from the windows to get decent ones. I wonder if I should start a go fund me like Kevin did... ROFL

The ones I bought that don't fit these tanks I actually gave to a friend of mine with a smaller tank and I plan on using one on my rimless tank i have at work.

With the number of times I've been, I've actually never been to the Dixie Stampede! I'd love to go through. We don't do the dinner shows, but I have a feeling we will start doing them in the next few years as little dude gets older. Our activity of choice is putt-putt! There are lots of fun courses there.
