Ok, so i'm not planning anything anytime soon.... but I need input as i'm terrible at visualizing and designing interior design. Heres an old picture of my living room...

Heres my vision... but idk if it should open the whole wall and sheet rock it... or plywood painted white. Or just trim out around the tank and put cabinet doors on the wood and keep the wood? This is my vision... kinda.. the D boxes are cabinet doors.

Is the room behind it empty? If so, I'd frame the tank and put the sump in the room behind it.

I've never worked with that equipment, Paul. I don't think it's sold this far south, but I did a quick search and it seems it can produce a bad smell and some smoke during its first few uses that can be dangerous for open tanks

Mike's recommendation is excellent. I would also turn off the skimmer so it doesn't suck in that air and put it directly into the water. If you could completely cover the tank with something like plywood or PVC, I think that could help too.

Yea, its a big closet on the room behind it which has a second one about the same size so im commondeering it haha. In theory, im gonna have a built it tank with access from the front as well as doors(locking lol) in the back for maintenance access. This is my one and done tank setup though, so im planning now even though it won't be happening for awhile. Everyone's getting new tanks lately so i'm getting an idea of what this will entail so I can start planning. Maybe a next winter/spring project.

I think the tank will be ok Paul. After all, it is an HVAC system, I'm sure the Cosmolite wouldn't be at toxic levels. I don't see that company lasting long if all their customers wound up dead.
