Hmmm... it does have carbon... i'd probably throw it in there as well if it were me. Throw that in, do a massive water change and pull the chemipure back out before its fully rated time. I think carbon can release stuff after it gets fully saturated with impurities.

I’m gonna stop at PetCo first thing tomorrow and pick up some more chemipure and see what carbon they have. I’m wondering if I should grab some nutri seawater too to make it quicker changes?

If your not already mixing saltwater i'd consider it, that way its mixed well and less stressful. If petco doesnt have any good carbon, i'd say this event would justify a trip to Westbrook or topsham.
