Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
Yeah, it was something I have had since a young age. I likely could sleep without it but it is hard to fall asleep without it since I am so used to it. Also even if I sleep I will wake up with a migraine without it anyway so its kind of a lose lose. I also think I am coming down with a cold or the flu too. lol
Hope you feel better!

Thanks John. As you know I’ve been planning this for a few years and have my heart set on a couple rainbow trachy’s like the one I picked but declined in health.

Good morning, all!

If this is what you're doing then it might be time to reevaluate.

Good morning Amanda, have a great hunt.

Just pulled up to the gate where we are going to hunt so we are about to get at it once we get our hunting gear on.

Ugh man that's terrible. A problem fish is always bad deal for a tank. Let alone two 😢
my clowns sleep all the time until they see me. then they swim.
here's them this morning. they were tiny when I got them like 3 years ago.

I would see that and think they are dead, haha

and for those of us that don't work and rely on others!

We have a running joke in my climbing circle of friends where we tell people in our group to just quit their job so they can become really good at climbing. Well, one of our friends did end up quitting (transition period), so we always tell him to just not get a job so he can become better at a faster rate.

What amount of par should I aim for for Acros on the rocks. I thought acros like 400+ par. The lights were at around 80% for B & V and 20% for W R & G
I would shoot for 350-400. There are SOME that like higher light, but you need to remember, that high of PAR isn't for the entire photo period, maybe 4-5 hours at peak.

Some not so good news.

My Naoko's Fairy Wrasse is not acting right. It's almost like he's injured. There are no signs of illness as he eats and is swimming around the tank. To me it appears that he cant use his tail efficiently, or maybe at all.

Big time bummer

Swim bladder issue?
