Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
Photo is really hard to get. It's not leaking but it's a crack.

The only photo I could try and get of it is there
A crack or a scratch? Do you use a magnet cleanerz

Definitely a scratch then
Be careful that the scratch isn't too deep. If you look through the side of that glass panel, if possible, you can estimate the depth of it. If it's not deep then you are perfectly fine, but deep scratches can lead to cracks, and that would be catastrophic.

Happy Valentine's day folks.

Sorry for being so absent the past few months. I've been so busy and sick lately. But other than that life has been great! The tank is still doing great. My clowns killed my huge duncan but, oh well. All the coral issues have stopped and everything has been thriving for a while now!

The dogs are doing great too but they are super crazy.

I hope you all are good!

Just got home and got dogs and guns and everything unloaded. The pompom crab is still alive and well in the acclimation box in the big tank the zoas are still not open all the way but some are. Not sure any my pretty red mushrooms. I'm afraid the zoas may have released some toxin because my beautiful purple pincushion urchin is dead and he was perfectly healthy before and that makes me really sad because he was a favorite of mine. Do you guys know if the pompom crab will survive in the big tank if I let it free in there? Or should I just put it back in the pico since it seems to be stable now?

I looked surface level nowhere near deep.

I would say you could if you kept the lid on and there wasn’t any precipitation.
Agree. I mix 200 gallons at a time and use it over the course of a month (ish). The lid isn't airtight, but it's a tall narrow storage tank so that limits evaporation somewhat

I wish my lfs offered that option. Come to think of it, maybe I should ask them 🤔
I asked mine as well and she didn’t want the hassle. I bought one. I do weekly rentals and because you are Smorgasbord I’ll give you a deal, $300 for five days, you cover the shipping and $50 a day for every day after.

welll....i just picked up an indo banana torch, forest fire digitata and a crazy looking blasto woo!

Didn't happen unless we get to see PICTURES

So sorry Amanda! I would think your Pom Pom would be fine unless you have any fish that eat crustaceans.

Congratulations Mike, pictures when acclimated.
