Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
How tightly do you put it in the cups?
I keep it loose mostly. Tighter removes more particles but plugs up faster. Looser allows more flow through and removes larger particles only.

No... PolyFil. In the craft section. It's pillow fluff.
It's the same thing... I prefer this brand because it's a bit more dense and doesn't release the little fibers as much as name brand polyfill. I realize it costs more, but I can swing the $10 or $12 I spend on it every 18 months lol

True. We keep PolyFil on hand because my wife and daughter enjoy making little stuffed critters.

Ones $10 and ones $12.99 and has to be bought annually at best. The one you like is inferior imo and leaves my back chamber full of fibers. But whatever stuffs your pillow brother!

Now I wonder if a cup full of bird feathers will work.

So, a quick Google search. That is from a 2008 short horror film called PencilFace. Weird? Yes
You should definitely watch it. It's only a few minutes long and will leave you with many questions! And nightmares...

Spoiler alert: The pencil is a jerk

I think they largely repel water, don't they? Lol

Oh you're right, they do... so would they repel the water but gunk and oils will remain. Kind of like how we see those birds covered in oil and garbage from ocean spills.

I like little stuffed critters if they ever need a home for one of their creations...
