Every year your city should release an annual water quality report that shows everything in your water. Using chloramines I imagine there's a higher potential for TTHMs. If your city has high TTHMs it could be disastrous.

I had read it last year but let me take a look because I don't recall seeing the term TTHM.

That's a Randy question. Every city is going to have TTHMs - it's the by product of chlorine and nitrogen sources (hence the nickname Disinfection Byproducts - DBPs). If I recall, 1.008 is the highest allowable level in drinking water but that may not be safe levels for aquarium inhabitants.
