This worked wonders for Bailey and me when we came down with some kind of ick in January. Doesn't taste great, but it soothes instantly! And yes, like @Calmwaters said, honey! Soothing, helps with taste, and, depending on the quality, has antibacterial properties.

Don't waste your time, Tim. This man will never be able to see the light. And it doesn't stop at coffee, but it applies to every hot and liquified substance. This includes, but is not limited to, hot chocolate, soups of any kind, and tea. Do you know how it feels to be a basic pumpkin spice woman who can't make her family soup in the fall and winter?
