Mine as well but a lot of ones I've tried in the last few years were disappointing.

When I was a younger, one of my aunts owned a farm that bordered on Lake Erie in the area that is now Mentor on the Lake. Anyway, she grew rhubarb and her rhubarb pies were the best thing I ever ate. But then again she also made the best chicken with rice, Aunt Ruth cookies (some concoction of her own that were kind of like molasses cookies but sweeter and fluffier with raisins in them) and just about everything else. Everything was homemade and I don't think she ever saw the inside of a grocery store. I know the flour and sugar were delivered in huge sacks and barrels, I used to ride my bike out to her farm and sit under the pear tree behind the main house and wait for pears to drop, the ones that fell off were mine the others either got sold at the farm stand or preserved.

You're not alone on this one... Although if I were going to try it again, it would be @Calmwaters' I would try! Looks delicious as far as salmon goes! But in all fairness, I'm not huge on fish in general (eating, at least). Shellfish, on the other hand...🤤

Thank you! It was very good. The little oven thing we have here does an amazing job at getting it perfectly crispy on the outside while still letting it moist on the inside.

I feel like I'm picky about fish. A good blackened fish, I am always down to have. Classic fried southern fish? Hard pass
