That is me in a nutshell. My wife has been filling me in on the end of movies since we were teenagers watching the Lord of The Ring movies. Lol

I have to do that for my husband as well but it's really bad because most of the stuff he likes to watch I don't pay a lot of attention to because I'm reading it playing on my phone.

I don't like music that makes me feel like I'm being yelled at but you can still post it as far as I'm concerned because i know that several others here enjoy it.

Update for you guys on my BRS order drama. I contacted BRS and they are going to ship me replacement and upgrade it to UPS shipping instead of USPS for free for me. He said if I ever get the first order to just keep it and not worry about sending it back to them.

I try to post songs on the lighter side or with minimal "harsh" vocals. Generally, I listen to a whole range of music from nice, calm rock and roll, all the way to the complete opposite spectrum. Just depends on what I am in the mood for.

Certainly, If it's just a few of us who like the more "harsh" stuff it's not the right place to post it for me at least. I like everything maybe the only thing I don't enjoy is Opera but I won't bash it.

I always call it an acquired taste. For me, a lot of the more "yelling" songs I listen to have some absolutely gorgeous instrumentals. The funny part is when you remove the vocals, it feels like something is missing. I've gotten accustomed to "harsher" vocals; there are still some points where even for me it gets a little much, but I generally can listen to any metal/rock genre

The newest In Flames album wasn't half bad. It's nice when you get the breaks with traditional singing. I tend to listen to Amorphis the most when it comes to that genre, but I'm not super picky with that genre
