what I do is get a nice looking corned beef flat cut with the seasoning packet. if you don't get the seasoning packet it's a table spoon of pickling spice and a bay leaf. Just drop a few carrots in (chunks or whole), potatoes at around 1.5" sizes. Then place the meat on top of the carrots/ potatoes with fat face down. fill with water (I add a beer too) until the water is just to the top of the meat. sprinkle the seasoning packet on the meat and in the water. Slow cook covered on low for 10 hours. after a few hours, flip the meat over so the fat side is up. At about 7.5 hours, cut a cabbage head into wedges and lay on top of the meat for the remaining 2.5 hours. This is how I get the best results. you never get the same on a stove top or in a dutch oven. ( if you're not around to flip it, place the fat side up so it doesn't dry out).
Sounds delicious I will have to try it.

That's awesome man, they're going to grow like crazy! And you have a great mix there

Thank you! Hopefully it works out, i'm already seeing coraline grow so that should be a good sign. I'm just not sure I made the right decision with the Pocilopora since they can become annoying if they do take off but we'll cross that bridge when we get there lol.

Hmmm, might have to grab some. The Mrs, my son and I love them. I like them with cocktail sauce, either homemade made or store bought that I add additional horse radish to.

Ive always been hesitant to add them because of that, but I do think they're beautiful and it cant be too bad to have a ton of a beautiful coral lol. I know @tbrown and others that keep it and love it. Is the grafted Monti a plating one or branching like a digi?

Yup it cant be that bad right 😅. The monti is a digitata will hopefully look cool, it was the priciest one In this group so fingers crossed it survives lol.

Oh yeah the grafted ones are definitely a bit pricey, but they're awesome. This one should grow really well for you. This is my fastest growing coral, and it's super easy to frag. I think you'll really like it.

Can someone try to go to corals.com I'm trying to see if their site is down or if it's my tablet being stupid
I placed my order with them last night and it was already being a bit wonky, hopefully they're up soon and my order went through correctly 😅 took an hour to receive confirmation email and order still doesn't show up in my account.
