It was not too bad but then I needed to spend some time brushing my horses. They are shedding really bad right now and needed to be brushed and my heart needed to spend some time with them. I am sitting with an ice pack on it right now in hopes I will be able to move tomorrow and I'm getting ready to take some muscle relaxers.

I hate to say it but the muscle relaxer will not help. might make it worse. if your disc is herniated, pain meds are better. the muscle relaxers will make you sleep better, but if you sleep on your wrong side or awkward etc...it may amplify the bulge. see if they can prescribe something stronger than otc.

They are already two weeks past due because the weather refused to be agreeable the last two times we had an appointment.

It’s in the cart but because I have a couple other fish I’m going to wait until I get back from vacation primarily because I’m getting a CBB and I want to be here to make sure it’s eating.

sounds like it. they told me to do all these stretches. didn't help me though. lidocaine shot really helps for those first few days till that steroid injection kicks in like 7 days after. never tried the stretch rack. treading water helps decompress if you have pool access. I try to sleep on my back with a pillow under my knees as long as possible. if you sleep on your side, pillow between the knees. these are all the things the doctors have told me.

It hurts a lot to try to sleep on my back even with pillows. I sleep on my side with a pillow sometimes the left side sometimes the right which ever side hurts less to lay on.

If I remember right it was 4 epidural steroid shots I had to do before insurance would agree to pay for the surgery. They also made me try physical therapy but it was making it worse so the therapist told them he couldn't help.

I corrected it, it’s been a looooong week and, I’ve never mentioned this but I’ve gone through life on a public education and Kermit thought it wasn’t easy being green? What a joke.
