Are you going to put yours on a heating pad as well? Just curious if the hatch yield would be the same if not kept warm. I placed the order for mine today. I thought I placed it yesterday but I must have gotten sidetracked and didn't finish checking out.

Probably, the yield is quicker at slightly higher temps. I'm going to set up without it as I don't have a heat mat on hand but I expect I will add it later.

Sorry guys, just got back from the AZ Game and Fish Outdoor Expo. It cost me $5 for me and $5 for my son. All we got to do was shoot a .300 AAC, a .308, a 6.5MM PRC, a 12 gauge, and a couple of 5.56 and 9MM rifles (plus a couple of pistols - .45 and 9MM).

I honestly dont think it would matter Amanda. I would have still had an exponential amount too many in 15 or so hours if even only 1/4 of them had hatched!

With no new eggs added, I had that many more today when I got home.

Brine shrimp eggs are amazing, i have a small container of the eggs from when i was 10 and they still hatch.

Yeah. I keep finding my old "vial" of brine shrimp eggs. Around 15 years expired but they've hatched everytime I've tried.
