Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
Been thinking about getting a UV sterilizer for my tank since I'm wanting to add more fish but don't have a QT tank. Would this one work according to the description I would need a 9 watt one for my size tank. I know its not a sure fire was to avoid diseases but I figured it might help.
I have been running one of these for over a year on my 40 B, I put it on for algae control. its for ponds but its also 18 watts. I just put one on my wife's gold fish pond yesterday because of an algae bloom. Bulbs are cheap and readily availible, they include a block off so you can have one entrance and exit.

How are you this morning John?
No complaints here ! It's a beautiful day and I'm hoping to get the boys out first some fun after work. :)

I hope you feel great today!

It is beautiful here as well and I plan on at least sitting outside in the sunshine when it gets a bit warmer.

That sounds very nice. I'd love to sit by the bank of one of the beautiful creeks you sent pics of too. That would be so relaxing, id probably wake up and it would be night time lol

We actually have a little waterfall somewhere in our property my husband knows where it is I keep telling him I want to clear a way to it where I can set up some chairs to sit in. But we keep finding other projects to do first. Lol

He knows you're never going to want to leave it if you find it!

The sound of a waterfall should be available in prescription form lol. So peaceful

I agree! And he knows I would drag him out there with me to set there 😆

How do I fix this? I have the water valve open all the way the air valve down all the way and the pump is set to 1 and water level is about 5 inches.

when you say air valve all the way down not sure what you mean but it should be open all the way to start

For my skimmer it says it should be 6.5 inches deep would adding more water to the sump fix it?
That would make it overflow even more
