No references, just that Chris is a grumpy man and his favorite past time is yelling at people to get off his lawn. Business as usual, he's quite proud of it too.

Most fish are susceptible to a Foxface sting but they are fairly rare. The Foxface has to be very scared and feel cornered. Most fish loses to a Foxface are probably accidental.

I did lose a Black-Ray Goby to a Foxface sting but that was because the idiot was swimming right above the Foxface when it spooked. A Foxface will raise it spikes when it gets spooked but then it tends to run. They are lovers not fighters by nature.

I lost a Neon Cleaner Goby to my old Foxface for the same reason.

Yes, one was about 50% larger than the other and put in a week later. They were too small for me to sex them but I assume it was not a lover's quarrel. We never saw the aggression but this morning the smaller one looked bad. I had to use an OptiVisor to see it well enough to see the fins were shredded. We pulled the bigger one and tossed it in the display tank (it is still hiding) but the smaller one was just too far gone. Sad.
