I can’t remember the size tank you have but even if it’s temporary I’ve heard great things about Australian stripeys for aptasia. Just a thought.

I have also. I need to look into them a little more as I've never had one.

sorry for the late reply, I have been super busy.

Long story short, I have a laundry list of things to do before ....get ready for it....my wife has our 1st kid in September! My backyard is all ripped up getting a new patio and we found rot where the old patio was up against the house so I have been also tackling that woohoo!

The corals are good, I lost the clam, one day it was open, the next day it was devoured by shrimp... The cynarina was eaten by hermit crabs. That stunk!

All the torches are getting nice and big, for whatever reason torches grow like weeds in my tank.

Anyone ever heard of Lamarcks Angelfish? Its apparently reef safe but grows to 9 inches. Some say 125 gallons is fine others say 150. They are very pretty and peaceful from what I have read but the 9 inches seems awful big for 125 gallon tank. What do you guys think?

We do miss having horses but then boarding them is just too expensive and unless it is grandfathered in, most newer builds (in our price range) in Arizona don't allow horses unless you go very rural.

Having horses on property really improved my health. Computer work isn't the healthiest as you spend most of your time sitting. My Triglycerides were so high for years that my insurance company refused to renew my policy but about six months prior we had rented a small horse property and had our horses at home. Taking care of them got me out and doing and I felt great so I talked to the insurance company and convinced them to retest me. My triglycerides weren't just better they were great. Every morning at around 5 my horse would let out a loud whinney to let me know it was breakfast time. Sometimes when he was in the yard he would like to knock the screen out of the kitchen window and stick his head in to see what we were doing.

Just finished a little research on the Stripey. Nice fish but in the same boat with Kleini Butterflyfish, Aiptasia-Eating Filefish, Peppermint Shrimp, really anything other than a Berghia, that eats Aiptasia. If it eats Aiptasia it likes to eat fleshy, coraly things. They are also very active and get to be around 9" long. I guess they have a good personality though so at least you can smile while they eat your prize acans.

I fully expect to need to rehome the Kleini in a few months, maybe even set up a FOWLR as there are a lot of non-reef-safe fish I like.

Speaking of such things, here's what my angel has done to the cabbage leather, moving the leather out to the nano tonight when lights are out. The spots that aren't green are tissue damage. Hard to tell from the photo.

Happy Saturday Smorg! Been a busy day here for me.
We have had a LOT of rain. Rivers are over their banks, lots of standing water in fields and lawns. A couple of area roads are closed due to flooding. Our back yard looks like a pond….
