Had deer meat and a baked potato for supper but I forgot to get a picture. It was yummy.

I once had a meal that started with an appetizer of 3 cocktail shrimp. they were $60 EACH! I ordered salmon that night for the entree. it was like a 2"x2" x 1" chunk but had some brown drizzle too to make it elaborate for $325. the glass of wine was $50. went to a Broadway play afterwards to see Aida. On the way home I was so hungry from lack of food i stopped at McDonalds. "true story".

I get that! I once worked for an insurance agent that took all the staff to the Grove Park Inn for supper for Christmas. The food there is insanely expensive and I left hungry. I don't know if you guys have ever heard of the Historical Grove Park Inn but its a super expensive hotel in Asheville and they host a huge Gingerbread House competition every year. People all over the US come to see the houses.

I have not heard of that one. but I don't make it down that far.
the place that I went was Le Bernadine. I wasn't flipping the $ so I was ok with it. that really was the most expensive meal I have ever had.

funny thing. well not funny. I was robbed!
McDonalds today with kids. Big Mac meal, "one" 10 piece nugget, 2 medium fries, 2 small sodas. $32

my biggest plus eating out is I don't have to do any of it. no cooking, coordinating or clean up. biggest is clean up. I'll cook anything if I didn't have to clean up afterwards.

especially after I eat. nooooooo. pots and pans I clean before I eat. because I need to be done after eating.

I clean as much as I can while I'm cooking and yes pots and pans before eating because sometimes they are harder to clean when they get cold.

I did jambalaya tonight. one pan to clean. I have no idea how Joel does it.
