Good afternoon Rock!
How's your tank coming along sir? You still loving the Meridian?
I've turned my whites up to the same intensity of the blues... well, I run the royal blue (windex) 10% lower than the rest. I like the crisp white with bluish hue that it gives off.

The tank is still in kill-the-Aiptasia mode and most of the corals are in the 40B waiting for the Peppermints to do their job in the display. I am finally seeing some regression of the Aiptasia and we ae still harvesting a hundred or so a week to feed the Berghia.

I tried to add another fish Saturday but it either hated my water or rammed itself into the side panel evading some spook or other. Anyway, a beautiful young Orange Back Wrasse is no more. From where we found it, I suspect it rammed into the side panel and killed itself during the night. The last time we added a fish, we left a light on in the room to add a little light to the tank during lights out. The Meridians moonlight is way to bright to use. Anyway, we didn't do it Saturday night and found the new fish dead near the side panel.

I do like the Meridians very much. I think once they release the shallow reef retrofit I'll convert the 11" Meridian I have over the frag tank to see what I think of it. I probably would have gone with the shallow reef if it had been out when I bought them but truthfully, with the 14K edges, I'm very pleased and more importantly the corals seem to like them.

How is your tank doing and how do you like those Orcas? I think they are the most promising new aquarium release in years. I've always like Tunze's NanoStreams, couple to a smart Sea Swirl alike, awesome idea.

My daddy always called me Peanut. @Calmwaters how did you get that nickname?
My daughter calls her son Peanut. Started when she saw him developing. Said he looked like a Peanut.

Anyone use Coppersafe in quarantine? Or chloroquine Phosphate? Thinking of adding one to quarantine tank. But not sure which is safest for the current fish.

A small naso tang, royal gramma, file fish, Bi-color dwarf angel. And 3 mollies.

Any personal experience welcome.

My daddy started calling me his Little Peanut when I was born. Then eventually it became Peanut. He never called me Diana. I am the shortest in my family. My mom is 5'8", dad was 6'2" and my brother is 6'3. Me...5'4"...I took after my dad's mom except she had blue eyes otherwise I look just like her.
