I’ve thought about doing it again in the new tank, I know the ones that work.

They're one of the coolest looking displays for the sandbed in my opinion. It's fun to contrast the colors and watch them blend together! I was thinking about putting my current collection in the new growout tank when it's ready, and restarting mine.

I used to have a lot more variety. If you look at the very center, to the right of the Gatorade zoas, you'll see two or three polyps of the ones that took over.

I had all of the other zoas on their own rocks to, it grew like vines and consumed a lot of them.

Still Beautiful John. I was following a guy on YouTube and wanted to emulate his. His key was adding iodine. I think I matched him, maybe surpassed him. Then when the playboy bunnies took over I felt defeated and lost interest. I used the artist color diagram for the contrast. I was all in!

It's very possible we were watching the same guy! I followed this guy's tank, before I started reefing. Mine is nowhere near as nice, but he had a big influence on the look of my tank. It's also easy to listen to, unlike the screaming BRS guys.
