Just a quick question. Who covers their scolymia or other corals for feeding? And which type that doesn't float works for you and why. Best size, hole placement ect. Darn snails are taking the food right out of their mouths!

Yeah , prices are out of this world. I think it stops being a hobby when you are spending that kind of money .

I’ll admit that I’ve thrown money , esp in the past. Most expensive corals I have are my Gonis . The red is a variety of glitter and I paid 175 at a POTO auctio and is the most expensive. But these days seeing people paying all sorts of outrageous amounts for a minor color variation….

If you have the money to throw do so. If you are lucky enough to be able to recoup it by selling off pieces for less to fellow reefers then do so. My softie tank is only 40 gallons. Can only put so much in it. I plan on spending my kids inheritance. But would prefer trading and paying it forward rather than $600 for something tiny. Here is my almost $600 find. And it has almost tripled in size.
