I made this "Filthy Cabbage" tonight. It was 10/10 delicious. I did brown six largely diced strips of bacon then used the rendering to fry my onions. He didn't.

Hello John. Finally done varnishing just a little paint and finished. Then on to rigging.

@Imrahilwjz @code4 and anyone else that was following along with my cyano and GHA battle, here's the latest.

I began dosing microbacter clean

I dosed these daily for 2 weeks per instructions on the bottle. I also maintained my bi weekly water changes, changed floss every 2 days, and blasted cyano off of the rocks every 2 or 3 days.

The cyano disappeared around day 10. This helped with the glass as well because the cyano would cover the natural film algae that's on it. So I can see through the side panels again! GHA has diminished greatly as well. Longer strands are floating away from the rocks in places and is starting to turn a more pale green color. Forgot to mention I also pulled hair algae once or twice a week. It just seems like it wasn't regrowing as quickly or at all in certain places.

I wanted a natural solution that avoided chemicals if possible.
Ill keep yall posted, but I am very excited about the success so far.

Mix 5 table spoons of calcium carbonate (buy on amazon) add 300 ml of rodi water. Now here is where you can super charge this.
Add Microbacter 7 to the mix.
For bad tanks, high nutrients add 5ml for each 25 gallons of tank to the mix
For good tanks low level nutrients add 5ml for each 50 gallons of tank to the mix.

For dosing min is 1 ml for 25 gallons and you can up this amount.
In my 300 I have done 1 ml per 10 gallons... I have a huge skimmer.

Just do not over do the dosing...

I also have cut down the amount of calcium carbonate to 3 tablespoons...since it really does not totally disolve.
