Sorry about the others but the colors on the favia are stunning Jimmy

Hopefully they live, I did get all kinds of crap off of the bottom of the favia, some sort of shellfish about the size of a nickel , could not identify, so it was toast. There was some sort of worm casing that was hard and could be broken up and the inside worm pulled out, along with about 20 asterina starfish and amphipods showed up in the coral clean dip (tropic marin) based on how the favia looked when I received them, I did a peroxide ((H2O2) dip.

Yeah that's a shame man. I'd have to contact them. A gift card is supposed to be a promotion for the business, not a punishment to the winner. The red favia is fire though. If you can stop the recession and keep the skeleton from growing algae, it should encrust back over those areas.

I’ve had mine for a few years, they are very resilient, you have this Jimmy.

It appears the seller receives overseas shipments, so basically since I added these to my new 20 AIO to try and save them, its like adding live rock. unless my dipping killed it

And I take it you haven't gotten a response from them about replacing them?

I am biting my tongue, will send tomorrow since I know for sure today the shrooms are gone. The red favia is basically all I paid for, but still

The shrooms are dead, basically they are coming apart, lost cause, the below pic's are the two favia. They are in my new 20g AIO for now. Will transfer to the established 20 gallon since its still up and running to keep the snails happy.

first pic you can see the dead/alive sections, will say they are big, about the size of a coffee cup TOP
this pic is with an orange filter, my new tank i just turned the lights on

red favia is doing ok, seems to show color and not so much of it has skeleton showing

no delay, but it was packed nicely, but the bags broke my heart. the two St thomas shrooms had a small piece of some plating coral skeleton added to the bag that was way smaller than the shoom. the red favia is a stunner, could frag it out and make a killing. just trying to save what I recived

Do you think maybe the shroom was attached to the "coral" piece and detached bc it was unhappy?
