Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
hoping moving it goes smoothly. I had to hire 3 guys just to lift my empty tank onto the stand. I think it's 330lbs dry. rings a bell for some reason.
Mine was 400, I told my sons (6’ and 6’ 1”) to call a couple of there friends to move the tank from the garage, into the house and on the stand. They have some big friends. The two that showed up were my size but they got it done.

Missed 27 pages and can confidently proclaim that I will not be getting to catch up on all of them. That said, I am sure all 27 pages follow the typical 'Bord message format of 63.8% hellos and goodbyes, 18.3% music, 9.2% food, 5.7% reefing and 3% other with 100% good fun.

I do hope all is well with everyone!
Morning Chris !
You almost have us worried 😧 . Steve has been working the night shift by himself .

Well my 25 only weighs 65 or so lbs empty. Wee bit lighter . I’ve been thinking on what I’ll need to move it and its contents. I’ve got two 5 gallon buckets which may be enough. Trying to decide about the sand. I may just go with fresh. A few of the corals are in rough enough shape that I might just let them go but several are showing signs of improvement after a rough patch. We’ll see
I've never tried before but I think I would put the fish in buckets with bubbles first and leave home. coral/rock into another bucket with some water. bubblers in both, then drain the tank and keep the water to add right back, move the tank with sand in it, then same water back in, rock and coral, let is sit for a day or 2 running, check ammonia spike, then fish back in. and a water change. try to keep it the same. but I've never done it before so that could be completely wrong. short distance. long haul I think I'd just rehome and start over.
