Good morning Tom! I’ve been stage 3 since my transplant in 2018 although numbers have been slightly high they have been steady until until this cychlo thing started.

Morning. My daughter sent me a pic of my old cat "Squeebs" she has had for 4 years now. It did not do well with other cats. 10 years old now and an old happy cat.

Good morning Tom! I’ve been stage 3 since my transplant in 2018 although numbers have been slightly high they have been steady until until this cychlo thing started.

I've been stable as well even dropped to stage 2 but then ate out a little too much and popped back to stage 3. Working on getting it back on track. I have some physical damage to one kidney so never going to make it to stage 1 but as long as it's stable, it's manageable. Biggest things that helped me was looking for low sodium, so very few canned soups, actually no canned soups because the low sodium ones are worse than old dishwater, and much more water. All I drink is water and coffee and a very occasional tea.

Agreed. I'm Stage 3 and eat about half of the avoid list. Maybe a little more moderate than before but avoid isn't happening. I do look for the lowest sodium for roughly equivalent foods, try to find product without added sugars, nitrates or phosphates when possible and drink lots of water. I had my first kidney stone when I was 26 and the doctor told be no cheese. I told him never going to happen.

Wow Paul. That's the youngest I ever heard of. My first one was two days after my father's first one but his was more a chip and passed it quickly in ER, didn't even need an IV. I called him a wimp, didn't go over well.

I was traveling when mine hit. hospital told my parents I had a burst appendix and needed surgery right away. next day parents came and picked me up and brought me to the hospital at home and found it was a kidney stone. still have my appendix. supposedly its worse than child birth. I did stop drinking YooHoo

They can definitely get your attention. I only had to have a procedure once though so not too bad.

My wife and I’s friend had them through out high school. They were 10 times worse during her pregnancy’s after having her boy and girl my wife was pregnant with our third and she gave us her really nice crib. A few weeks later she called my wife crying stating she needed the crib back and that she was in for another miserable pregnancy.

They can definitely get your attention. I only had to have a procedure once though so not too bad.

lots of pain killers and antibiotics only for me. every time I get an Xray for other stuff I get a free stone screen.

Same here. I think the old motto 'don't ask, don't tell' is the best way to handle a doctor. I've got a pretty good PCP now as he knows he doesn't need to make me feel good or think I got my money's worth out of a visit.

We're in reverse of that, since I always have questions after her appointments that Catherine can't answer
