I'm definitely saving this, so I can just copy and paste it when I'm trying to explain why I use these products lol. What's really cool is that I'm showing no rise , whatsoever in nitrates since dosing. I'm not using a scant amount either, it's the recommended dose for my tank. This tells me that the corals are consuming it before it even has the chance to convert to N03. If that's happening, then the corals had to be almost starving before I started dosing it.

I haven't begun dosing sodium phosphate yet, because my P04 is usually very steady at .2 to .3. I may have to up NH4HC03 if nitrates stay very low.

This is proof the corals can readily consume and utilize the ammonium and urea, negating having to convert nitrate (inorganic nitrogen) back to ammonium.
Your NO3 won't rise unless you are dosing enough to increase it. For instance, I found that I need to dose 15mls of the ammonium/urea to keep my nitrates 5-10 and 10mls phos to keep PO4 around .05-.1

You need Ammonium Bicarbonate, not chloride Steve. Im pretty sure that's not the correct P04 product as well.

Ya. Rock told me. I was able to cancel one and the other is in request to cancel limbo. I ordered the bicarbonate. Rock thought the urea would be ok but not the last in the list I ordered dipotassium it needed to straight potassium phosphate.

No, I think you should get the LoneWolf Urea, not the pellets like you have sir. I'm sorry if that was confusing.

There's also this product out there that is very well thought of by the users if mixing is intimidating at first. It's not quite as cheap, but you wouldn't need much for your size tank.
