We had a LOT of rain in the state over the weekend with some flooding but the weather is great, mid 70s mainly. This is one of my favorite times of year, cool enough to go out mid day but warm enough to avoid sweaters.

I enjoyed this time of year and spring when I lived in Mesa. I worked in the ICU at Mountain Vista Medical Center. I spent a lot of time in Apache Junction and downtown Phoenix on the strip where ASU hangs out. There’s probably a Rock Jr or 4 running around out there like the Tasmanian Devil

The good news is there are plenty of Subways here in AZ so when he moves he can just transfer. And I don't mean those dangerous subways like in New Jersey. Of course, in their defense, the light at the end of the tunnel there is New York.

Love Apache Junction, well the Superstitions, but there are a bunch of new developments going in over there. One of my favorite model railroad shops was in Apache Junction (closed 2 years ago) and one of my favorite LFSs is in Mesa near the Apache Junction border.

You can faintly see the top of a beer can in the lower left.
No filter. My lights run a very natural setting. This is about an hour and a half before lights out and it’s still quite white. Intensity is low as it’s ramping down.

Some of the best trout fishing I had was hitting the salt river going up through the mountains to Canyon Lake.

If I recall correctly, they're letting 43,000 CFS (cubic feet per second) out of Bartlett Lake currently. 1 cubic foot is 7.48 gallons.

That's 19 million gallons per minute being released into the river.

For reference: the City I work for uses 4-6 million gallons per day.

Yes, we have one in town. We had two but one was in a lousy location and closed, was replaced by a Krispy Kreme, which closed, and there is a Sushi Gon Estilo Sinaloa (Mexican Japanese Fusion grub) there now.
