Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
it was the one liner about the gonis. have a few drinks then re-read it! 🤭
I don't think the Smorg can handle another night like last night for a little bit. They need time to recover Paul

I needed an antibiotic after last night Rock!

It's hard to say. I don't think it is but I'd keep an eye on them and if you see any bubbles, scrape them off and lightly peroxide the plug around the coral.

--edit--

I should add: scrape and peroxide out of the tank.
^This...

I'd pull them and use a toothbrush and peroxide, careful to not scrub the actual coral though. The peroxide won't hurt the coral but, you don't want to introduce any micro scratches either.
Mix the peroxide 50/50 with tank water.
Okay I’ll give it a try!

Hey everyone. Just had a very lazy dazy day. Spent a good portion napping . Seems the older I get the more I want to nap on a day off unless I something planned. Hooray for getting older. Tank is looking pretty good . When I got up early briefly at just after 8 everything looked as good as or a little better than yesterday day. The new torch is looking nice and I’ll probably keep it there for now. Stomatella are starting to show up everywhere . I found one on a much larger trochus eating the algae on it for example.
My fish ate out telling me to feed them. Right now down to 3 again. The clarkii out competed the FC Ang tooth Blenny and I think in retrospect it wasn’t aggressive enough in a small tank with them. The gramma is fine, hangs in cave a lot but is hearty eater and looks healthy. Next step is to get some cuc replenishment for tank I think.

Glad to hear tings are going well with your tank Steve! I was in the same boat with needing to beef up my cuc. I have an order arriving tomorrow from Reef Cleaners.

Yeah, I use them too. Still have a smattering of astrea and merited as well as stomatella that I originally purchased from Corals Anonymous.

Oh no!! It's strictly for the tank... there is NO way in God's green earth she would eat it.
Are you talking about this stuff, Rock? I'd put a drinking straw in it. Love this stuff!
