Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
Hey everyone, this has been quite the day. Sorry if I didn’t seem responsive today but I got suck at work last second due to a no call no show. Under up getting out at nearly 11:30 this morning. Then when I got home I did something stupid that I did earlier this year and left my phone in the car. After some mad scrambling , contacting Uber and biting my nails waiting for some kind of response back, I heard a car honking outside about half an hour later and it was the driver with my phone. Watched a few minutes football with housemate to de-stim and went up stairs and crashed. Woke after a little more than 3 hrs later. Considering crashing til 9:30 if I can shortly. Kev , I’m glad your leopard showed up. Once she gets comfortable she’ll have a pretty regular schedule. And be pretty active, hunting tidbits in the rocks. Mine ate frozen quite readily as well.

Not as rough as needing a kidney transplant my friend. Sorry life has dealt you this hand.
Hang in there!

I’ve some already , just at the point where I might be able to get a little more . I dunno. Not the first time and won’t be the last time I get stuck like that.

You need one of those now too?🫪
Already had one in 2018, I was diagnosed with primary sclerosing choliangitis when I was 24 yo and was told there was no treatment and in 5-10 years I would need a liver transplant. I made it until 49 yo. Two years on a transplant list. Vomiting every day and didn’t eat solid foods for 15 months. I was in and out of the hospital and then found out I had cholagiocarcinoma, 6 months chemo.

I will try but I’m concerned with keeping the sea weed in its container in the sump . Other wise it gets into the big pump
The whole reason I placed the pump where I did was that it tumbled the macro away from the underflow to the next partition. I put it in the corner by the underflow so that it tended to move the alga ball away from the outflow. It didn't work 100% but it worked well enough. The only issue was if a piece broke away from the main ball it could get sucked through. It wasn't bad enough that I made a blocking grid or anything. Maybe a small piece every few weeks.

Sorry bud. Glad you’re still with us. I’d miss those daily doses of Kevin humor.

Yes! He has a lot of videos and many of them address the addition of c02!
I have never used CO2, honestly it intimidates me plus there is no place near me to get the co2 bottles refilled.
