Has anybody used 1 apex trident and sampled multiple tanks? I have an apex trident and wondered if it’s possible to test other tanks by placing a sample in a container and putting the testing hose on that container and run a test

I don't see why you couldn't. The only thing is that if you're going to use it to adjust your dosing automatically you could run into trouble.

As long as the sample and waste lines are kept at the same height and configuration as when calibrated, then yes. The back pressure on those hoses affects the measurements. I’d run a manual prime cycle on the new sample first, then start the test.

My main tank is on my first floor which has the trident. I was wondering if I bring my sample up and just have my trident run a test on it if it would be ok , I don’t have dosers . Don’t need to dose (yet)lol I know the sample line is a certain length and shouldn’t be modified . Just wondering if other people are doing this or would try themselves. I really don’t see why not , I’d just have to keep the log for my main tank and re test main tank after I’m done with my samples.
Thanks for your response!

This is really not how the Trident is designed. You will be swapping sample line to water, priming sample, and the results would not have an identifier just the last result. Honestly too much manual effort so the juice wouldn't be worth the squeeze. Also history data would be mixed and you won't know which result is what even if you logged timestamps.

Edit: I noticed subject said 1 apex to multiple tanks then asked about Trident. You could add modules and give them a name tank 1, tank 2, Bob, whatever and do some tasks as well has add an eb832 to power and track. So in theory could add a 2nd trident tied to the other system. That would be unique.
