10 gallon build - because I need another tank

I went and got a cleanup crew tonight (2 tiny hermits and 2 small snails) because the algae is starting to take over the tank. While at the LFS I spotted this featherduster and bought it for the tank too. It's currently in the snowflake tank until I'm confident the 10 gallon is ready.

Thanks! I thought it was pretty awesome too, I really like the color combo! I have another "regular" feather duster (not so much "coco worm like") that has the same color combination but yellow with maroon bands that I'm planning on putting in that tank too. I think it should look awesome once it is fully stocked and gets over the new tank syndrome!

Here's an update. I didn't want to post any pics of the tank while it was going through its "ugly duckling" stage so here's the first FTS now that it's halfway presentable (still some algae):

I added a pistol shrimp in the hopes of pairing a goby with him, but this is where he ended up...guess I'm gonna have to wait until he comes back out from behind the wall...

How freaky, I was just thinking of this tank last night and was gonna ask for an update as well!!!

Update is not a good one :(

I've got coral in it but the lights don't really grow them very well...not enough PAR or wrong spectrum. On the other hand, if you're looking for something to cause the algae to grow in your fuge, this is a great combination! I'll be ordering the coralife screw in bulbs as soon as I get the chance.

You should post some pics up when you feel your tank is looking better. I just got my 12g nano up and running and just waiting for the break in time so I can get my mantis shrimp! How is yours doing?
