This is a complete graph day by day since the cycle began representing Ammonia, Nitrite, and Nitrate.

Probably a simple answer considering the way I compiled my data during the entire cycle. Are my Nitrites ever going to go down? It seems like this cycle is very prolonged compared to most 10 gallons with similar set-ups.

Ammonia source:
1.) 5lb Live rock from LFS established tank
2.) Ghost feeding (only one time a week)
3.) Fluval Cycle weekly, plus initial dosing.
4.) Hitchhiker snail which dissapeared during ammonia spike, assuming he is no longer with us rest his soul.

nitrates go down because of bacteria in anaerobic zones, water changes, or algaes and stuff so doing a water change is the usual method since algae in the DT is usually not wanted...

Highlights from that thread to your nitrites: skip testing for them it's likely an error test reading.

Base your cycle on ammonia and number of days the rocks were submerged before you brought them home

Sounds like you used group B rock from the thread

Agreed on nitrate, either gas it out by arranging for denitrification or export it out via clean system, no cruddy sandbed and good skimming etc
