10 gallon mixed reef

he is mostly just a test for ick, i know that sounds bad, but he was 7 dollars and he was black so i could see it.

Long term, a clown is probably better though. Just a thought.

P.S. If you could check out my build, that would be sweet. The link’s in my signature.

your tank is beautiful!

i also forgot to mention my corals as livestock if you would like to know them.

Now that you mention it, I’m kinda curious. I see some Euphyllia but not much else.
2 hammers, one torch, 1 montipora, 1 dead duncan, 2 frags of zoas, and a devils hand leather.

he has got ick :(

should i quarantine him?

I know it has been a while since I posted, but I felt it was time for an update, and also to ask for some help. Since my 10 gal, I have since graduated to a 30gal tall reef. The reason for my upgrading though was unfortunately because if dinos. The peat that I am battling now is a type of stringy brown algae. I have been through dinos before, but this seems a little bit different. It originated from a small diatom looking spot that grew from the sand bed. At this point, it has reached every surface in the tank and covered it in brown strings. Can anyone help me to identify this and find possible cures?
