Do you have any air exchanger, to get the evaporation humidity out the display area and basement?
For the DT, The room is air conditioned (71 degrees) , however, the basement has no airflow, it stays humid / warm (75 degrees) ,

Tank stays between 78-80 degrees with no chiller

Ok I was more worried about the water damage to your house from evaporation. Seen it first hand with a 600 gal tank and fish room.

I see, what warning signs were present? Was the damage mold growing in walls? id like to know more
