I wouldn’t touch any of the lights suggested so far

Nicrew Gen 2 puts them all to shame but their fan is a little noisy if run at 100% but very few will ever run them at 100%

The new Hydra Edge 44 would work as well and is more refined than the Nicrew but a higher cost.
The hydra edge looks good. I just don’t know

Overpriced. Underpowered. Need many of them to get decent par and even still you’ll need to run them at 80-100% power, reducing lifespan. With photons and Meridian you will run 50% or less, running cooler, and prolonging life. Plus the Meridian is silent, and basically waterproof. Almost. Meridian also has 3 lens kits to adjust spread vs intensity. Default will be fine for your tank but can always change if needed.

Also there are matching led bars that can connect to built in mount points and can adjust, and they look real sleek. Can always add these down the line as well
Thanks for the info. Ill see if I can find a decent review video on them

One thing I forgot to mention is puck vs panel. Pucks have so much light spill which is why shades are needed. It's on one of reasons i when with the photons originally because the tank was in our bedroom and the other in our dining area.

A8SE from Alibaba. They are exactly like the radion g5 pros and only about $140-$180 per light. So each one you buy saves you about $700. I love them so much I bought 10 of them for my farm and display tank which is all SPS. I have 5 on a 200 gallon and at max level they pump 800 par midway down. If you can spend an hour learning the crappy app and get through that then you will be amazed. My frags are still young but everything pops really nice

Either two Reefi UNO’s or a 3 or 4 bar helix combo from Quanta. The Quanta Helix combo will give you full coverage and you’ll have some money left over. Luca is getting a shipment soon, so they’ll be back in stock soon enough. Email Luca with your tank dimensions, stocking list/plans and your preferred spectrum.

Can I see the graph, brother? I want to know how you open it.

Reef Breeders all the way. Photons are awesome. I'm sure the Meridians are just as reliable and can grow anything you could ever hope to keep. And the customer service is top notch. Reasonably priced and they look really sleek and clean. Quite operation and rock solid mounting systems.

These plz

Unpopular opinion, I guess... You could do one Blade Grow and one Blade Glow and grow anything you want in there.

Or get a Quanta Helix two bar setup (Reef Crest + Meso Blue). You'd gain power and spectrum over the Blades, but lose the app (dimming/ramping). Not a big deal if you have some other means to dim and ramp the lights (0-10v control).

I’m over here with my ReedLED50’s, like, umm. I need to rethink my life choices.

Good luck. Following along to learn about the options.
I have 4 ReefLED90's, they seem just fine to me. If I had it to do over again I would likely choose different, but tank mounted lights make the wife happy.

I think RedSea is not as terrible as a lot say. Their tanks, I can’t speak for but I have seen a lot of issues.

They have easy technology for noobs like me. They work and give you a place to get started.

I think once you learn how to do the more advanced stuff with more options RedSea isn’t as well positioned.

The whole app with RedSea got me hooked and I am pretty happy with what it is doing.

I just wish I could see these other lights in an actual home setting and see the difference.

I mean when I left the hobby 15 years ago digital timers were top of the line.

Now I can see my tank temp, monitor my top off water, build simple schedules for my lights. Adjust my wave makers and see how long till I need to replace my roller mat. All from one app.

However, none of that stuff is as important as actually looking at my tank and making sure everything is working properly.

When I'm looking for pics I do google image searches. Usually I find what I'm looking for.
