Wanted to start a thread to share and keep track of my new build. I bought a 100 gallon Cadlights Artisan II aquarium and stand from a fellow hobbyist in my club last month and have been slowly cleaning it up while I've been working on the living room where it's gonna go. Here's a couple pics of the tank sitting in the garage after I cleaned it up:

Wow. That looks like it cleaned up nicely. Following along on this one. Is this a replacement for something else or an addition to adiction?

Well, judging by the look of the 57g, this too will be a beauty. Congrats on the upgrade.

Looks nice!

Clean tank!

Very nice. Cadlight tanks are always sharp looking

Following!
Thanks for the kind words guys. I'll try to update often so this thread doesn't die like my 57g build thread did.

Quick update: I ordered a custom sump from trigger systems and it should ship out next week. Super excited about that because I can finally start plumbing it.

The logo and the word sapphire on the lid handle is a nice new touch. Looks nice, mine has many scratches on it now from getting it in and out of the stand.

Thanks I might put something between the sump and stand to reduce any vibrations and it should also protect from scratches.

That's a good idea, if I would have thought of that I probably would have done it too. Then again I was barely able to get the sump in as is, slight design error when building my stand. When do you plan on fillin it up?

Hopefully soon. Waiting on some plumbing and a few other pieces of equipment. I need to figure out the rocks too.

Cool setup!......
And nice mouse lol

Got the 25mm to 3/4" unions and 40mm to 1 1/4" unions in the mail also. I'm gonna plumb this with all pvc.

I've got an Artisan II 70g. I want to redo the sump plumbing. Where did you get those conversion unions? And did you replace the ball valve cadlights supplied?
