I dont have any space in the stand for a second chamber otherwise i would of gotten the geo 612 dual chamber

Agreed.
I am not sure about these Ca reactors, as I use a different make but with a second chamber.
pH never got affected by the CO2.

Doesn't need to be anything fancy you can rig one up with a two little fishes reactor just allow the excess co2 to melt more calcium media and not escape into the tank lowering your ph

With only having a skimmer as your filtration. How often are you needing to clean the glass?

How do you keep the fish from going down the overflows?
New fish sometime goes down but after they’re getting used to it, they learn to avoid it. My tangs stick their head in there tomunch off the algae but they know
