Hi,
In the processes of working out lighting for a planned tank.
It will be 10ft x 4ft and 2.5ft deep.
Stock will be SPS dominated.

On my current tank I have XR30's Blue G6 and they are great however if I was to do it again I would go the PRO's.

Obviously 10ft tank is going need alot of light and XR30's arn't cheap. Retail is approx $1750, I can probably get them for $1450 pre unit. In Australia and there doesn't seem to be many used units for sale.

I have 4 XR30 blues which ill move over to new tank when its time.
I'm looking for alternate ideas of lighting, My lighting schedule will be nothing fancy. Ramp up and down then AB+.

A8Pro Max look like a decent option ~$450 which is at least 1/3 of the price and can add more as required.
8x $450= $3600

Radion XR30 PRO
8x $1450 = $11,600

ATI Stratton Pro 204
4x $3600 = $14,400

What do you guys think?

Just as another idea, You could get 4ea. 63" reef breeder Meridians and one larger power supply to drive them all for around $7,799.96 USD. The 63's are good for 60"x24" areas. I think that they have a focus lens that would be for deeper tanks also.

I'm setting up a 6ft x 4ft x 2.5ft tank (so same tank, but 4ft shorter than yours) and plan on going with 6 Radion Blues with 2 6ft AI blades to supplement. I might put a few T5s up there as well, but haven't decided yet.
I got my radions on sale during black friday sales, so they only cost me $799 each. Don't know if they ever go on sale in Australia, but it's worth waiting for if they do.

They don't seem to move too much $1450-1750 range depending on the shop you go-to which is 1000usd to 1200 usd. Reefing in aus is fairly expensive and limited seems to be the experience.
