Finally starting to get some life in the tank so I thought I'd show you all and see where it goes.

12/13/18(Day 1):

Temp: 78.6
SG: 1.026
Ph: 8
dKH: 9
Ca: 420
Mg: 1400
Ammonia: 0
Nitrite: 0
Nitrate: 0
Phosphate: 0

Dose BRS soda ash and calcium chloride. For filtration I run Chemi-Pure Blue and Seachem Matrix in an Eheim Jager Classic 150 canister filter. I use a JARDLI inflow lily pipe w/ surface skimmer for intake used part of the Eheim outlfow for the return. For flow I got three Hydors, one 240 and two 565's. Aquaforest M8 94w for lighting. Fluval heater and the osmolator nano for ATO.

Over the last week I've put a few little mushrooms and a little zoa colony in there once the nitro cycle finished. Some pods. Started feeding some phyto. Just bare rock in there before.

Diatoms really started to pop in the last couple days. Might just be that time in the cycle or the fact that my RFA I got died after a couple days after I got it. I caught it early enough there wasn't a huge ammonia spike but there was ~.25 for a few days. All other parameters same as above.

What kind of clean up crew should I get? I was thinking one trochus and one turbo to start. What do you all think?

What test kits do you use.

Were you thinking a Mexican turbo or a regular turbo? I'd say maybe 3 trochus and they would lay the hammer down on the algea.

Just the **** API test kits for now. I use Salifert for Mg.

I went with two zebra turbos, one trochus and one scarlet hermit. They've been doing a decent job but I think I need another trochus.

Got a new mushroom. Nice deep purple with blue specks. He's way in the back there. Having a hell of time getting him to latch on to the rock. Every time I think he's set after a few days I turn the pumps back on and he shrivels up and drift away like a tumbleweed. I'm only running one Hydor Nano 240 now down mid-water, blasting through the little archway. Seems to be doing ok. As soon as I turn on the two 565's to turn the detritus up he gets ticked and lets go.

The acans looks swolled up. I think they're happy. They have been eating like champs.

Here's the full shot. I moved the duncan this morning into a more permanent position towards the right back of the tank.

Got some new corals. Everything looks good. Birds Nest lost a little color by the base due to some low alk I believe. It seems to be coming back for the most part.
