11 Different species of live phytoplankton for sale

If you are looking for starter cultures of phytoplankton and not sure where to turn, you've found the right place. Reef Legends currently has 11 species of phytoplankton offered for culturing. These strains are what we use to restart our carboys each week, these are grown in 1 gallon jars which gives us a better sanitization process than our 6.5 gallon carboys.

Our culture strains are shipped Monday and Wednesday's, our website; rlutah.com, is updated on Wednesday/Thursday afternoons each week. Strains are harvested at the end of the day to ensure the shortest delivery time to you. Culture strains are shipped via 2 day UPS or an upgraded overnight option for $30 for 3, 16 ounce bottles, cost of phytoplankton is separate. Every strain comes with a 3 day window to file a claim if there is an issue, life happens sometimes UPS shows up late and the phyto has to wait an extra day.

We also sell our fertilizers & silicate water aka water glass on the site, nothing is hiding here, we want to see you become successful in growing phytoplankton or pods if you want to put in the effort.

Culture strains get updated later today for shipping on Wednesday with Memorial Day on Monday. Have a great Memorial Day and enjoy the extra day off while remembering our troops that gave their lives for our great nation.

You'll also note new pictures coming off the cells structure in our culturing strain collections.

New pheaodactylum, chaetoceros, Dunaliella and Japanese chlorella are all on the site ready to ship on Monday & Wednesday each week.

Our culture strains are extremely popular, if they go out of stock they get restocked on Thursday night most weeks.

The site has been updated for next week. 12 strains are listed for sale currently. Rhodomonas, T-isochrysis, Isochrysis and Thal are all popular strains each week.

If they go out of stock they will be back the following week. All of the culture strains are bottled in the evening and go out within 2-3 hours of harvesting.

The site is updated for culturing strains for next week. If the ones you want are out of stock, they go back in stock each week, with the exception currently of Pavlova and Porph.

If you are having issues gettin all the strains you want, send a message and I'll put you in the queue before updating the inventory the following week.

Have no fear, you can get the strains you are after, no need to stress over it one week, when most are out of stock.

Moving forward in a 7-14 days there will be another 20 bottles added to the weekly rotation to help fill the voids of the ones that sell out every week.
